A step back from the first film, but still has some laughs at the expense of Zellweger.

While Renee Zellweger is still very charming in the title role, this sequel isn't as witty for well put together as the first film.

Not as good as the first, but still cute and funny. Worth a watch.

This was great sequel to the original movie. While I don't really go much for the chick flicks, I don't know what it was about the Bridget Jones movie that attracted me want to see them, but all I can say that I really did enjoy the movies. This movie picks up in a great spot, just shortly after the end of the first movie, and right away it jumps back into the feel of the original. This is a great movie if you want to just relax, a really good date movie.

Not as good as the first film.

Bridget Jones: "It is a magic mushroom moment, isn't it?".

The movie is about it's main character Bridget Jones discovers that life with her new beau, Mark Darcy, isn't everything it's cracked up to be.

This is not as good as the first movie but it does have it's laughs. Renée Zellweger once again brings that caring witty character back one big screen and once again she nails it. Colin Firth and Hugh Grant did a fine job in they roles, but they fight was pure comedy gold. But one thing that slowed the movie down for me and what shocked me is actually the writing in the movie, the writing felt reused again from the first movie and the writing was the best part from the first film. And I found out the writer's for this movie was the same writer's from the first film. The m...

Chick Flick!

This sequel picks up four weeks after the first, and our heroine Bridget Jones (Renée Zellweger) has gained quite a bit of weight and is feeling insecure. Things are not going that great with her dream guy, human rights lawyer Mark Darcy (Colin Firth) and they start to squabble after a while, about small things (like how Mark folds his pants) and her inability to fit in with Darcy's ultra conservative crowd, a bunch of uptight lawyers with whom she is hopelessly out of depth. Bridget is also convinced Darcy is having an affair with Rebecca (Jacinda Barrett), and her suspicions lead her to splitting with him and falling back into the sights of the devilishly charming Daniel (Hugh Grant) , her former lover who is now a television reporter with whom she is now teamed. But will Bridget get ba...
