The first time i watched this movie I was not impressed, but my husband in his infinate wisdom decided we needed to own it. I am glad he did. After watching a second and third time it has become a very good movie. The way it portrays the 80s is wonderful. It is on it's own level of comedy. The use of a Hot Tub as a time travel machine was great. A movie that i have recomended to many friends.

The film wisely recognizes the ridiculousness of its premise and ramps up the campiness to fun levels. The repartee shared by the main (relatively small name) cast has a great comedic flow and the film also gets some fun cameos and jabs in at a bygone 80's era. Raunchy and hilarious fun.

Funny movie, loved the scene where the dude inents Stugul. It was surprising when it turns out that the bald guy is the kids dad. When the girl stabs John Cusac in the eye with a fork it kind of made everybody go HA HA HA! I quite enjoyed this movie but on the box it says, 'funnier than the hangover and I totally disagree with that, it was not even close.

Had a couple FUNNY moments here & there.I LOVED the scene where Craig Robinsons character was talking to his future 9 y/o wife.Hilarious!!!

Perhaps it was the time in which I decided to view this film (one night of my honemoon, and after watching "A Serious Man") or perhaps it is simply my perceptiveness to cinematic crap, "Hot Tub Time Machine" may very well be one of the most disappointing and revoltingly superfluous movies I've seen. What made this film so terrible? No solid story, disgustingly bad performances by every single member of the cast, and a supreme lack of confidence in the audience's intelligence. It does surprise me oft times that movies like this can be made freely and wide-released and smart comedies such as "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" had to fight for any sort of release and Producer finance.

good but wasnt laugh at loud funny, but had a few good moments, needed a true comedy actor in like jack black or a will ferrall it was really missing some one like that
