Not as bad as I was expecting. I liked the visuals, even if the story made little sense. The scares are plenty generic, but I've seen worse.

This has to be one of the worst films of 2009...quite possibly THE worst, and here is why. This movie was definitely advertised in a wrong way. It was advertised as an epic horror film with multiple characters, multiple situations, good special effects, and scary as hell things going on. Yet, when I saw this movie at the theatre, perfectly ready to do some jumpin' in my seat and peein' in my pants, I was met with little to no story that followed any plausible arc, twenty seconds of intrigue followed by an hour and half of nonsense, and acting as stilted and wooden as a George Lucas wet dream. What a piece of crap.

i knew this movie is going to be bad. but after knowing gary oldman is in it, i thought maybe it won't be bad after all. i was wrong, forget about the film direction, forget about the acting, forget about the story, forget about the suspense, this movie is really bad. the only good reason to see this movie is to see the beautiful odette yustman.

The script is horrible..."Dont look the mirrors" Holocaust? what is this nazi blue eye experiments on jewish kids about? The killer kid? what a scene... Casting is sucks The boyfriend is useless character... Visuals are so cliche. Gary Oldman ? what the hell is he doing in this movie? The director David S. Goyer need to see polanski movies ten thousand times more.
