Another perfectly mediocre Adam Sandler offering. The jokes are too few and too far between. It tries hard to be heartwarming but never feels like it has much heart. I think younger kids will like it, but adults will be disappointed. |

overall a good renter |

Who doesn't want it to rain gumballs, or gummy bears or whatever else a kid can come up with. Although this wasn't the most brilliant movie all time, I thought it was cute and a fun family movie. It was a more 'grow-up' comedy role for Sandler, but to me a refreshing change for one movie. |

Bedtime Nightmare |

I now declare Adam Sandler's happy gilmore days are officially over. This one's probably the nail to his movie making coffin. I mean let us face it he's getting old and as he ages his jokes are becoming more annoying than ever. A good example is his latest Bedtime Stories, you see I'm a fan of his work and now I'm not anymore (remember Zohan). The only reason I went to see this is to witness a heartwarming Disney tale and (wait for it) that didn't happen. The jokes didn't work (Russell Brand mind-numbing humor), the characters are lame (specially Sandler's role which happens to be same every movie he's in) and the Bedtime stories are downright uninteresting. I know this is supposed to be a kid’s movie but I just did not see myself laughing and enjoying this film even if I was to become 20... |

I liked this movie, kinda. I thought it was funny but there of course were completely stupid parts. I honestly thought that weird gerbil hamster thing was the greatest, Bugsie. He was great. Kerri Russell did a good job, I think she's slowly coming back into Hollywood and this was a pretty good transition movie. |
