Everything about it just feels average. The actors involved are funny, but the movie doesn't give them the right set-up for the jokes.

A very casual comedy, though one that understands how normal people would behave; indeed there are several moments of humiliation and awkwardness. It's nice to see Sean William Scott in a role that doesn't require him to be a wise-ass, but too bad the females are thankless. FInal Grade: B-

A nice little movie that doesn't take too many chances and in turn doesn't get too outrageous in the classic battle of two men one promotion. Pretty standard fare with a few laughs during the very short run time which still seemed a bit padded with the long shots of the two men doing nothing. Seann William Scott tones it down and John C. Reilly is his usual reliable self also plays it low key. There isn't much more to say here, a few more laughs here and a few more chances there and it would have been a winner.
