Plot: The documentary simply about oil. The documentary makes a solid argument for why we need to make the switch from oil more now then ever. It start by laying the ground work how we began to become dependent on oil and what drove our dependence towards it. It talks about how we began to move away from it with the oil embargo in the 70's and how we were pushed right back to it by the political forces in power. It discusses the impact on our society with the loss of oil and how we could never have become or maintain what we are with out it. Closes with the shaky relationship we have with the oil producers and the fact that no one really knows exactly how much is left and when exactly we will run out. -- taylors
