It meanders a bit, but "The Accidental Tourist" is a sweet drama about love and overcoming grief.

The plot is a bit predictable, but the actors, particularly Geena Davis in a bubbly, Oscar-winning performance, elevate the material. Davis plays her perpetually optimistic character with such reality and humanity, that it becomes more than an exaggeration and personifies the film's heart.
