not great but not bad either. At least there was a half way decent plot, and the acting wasn't bad.

I was pleasantly suprised by this movie. Ok, it's not all that funny, but it does have it's moments. At the same time, I found the storyline intriguing. It may not have been all that believeable, but at times it reminded me of another film I enjoyed long ago called 9-5. I thought the actresses played very well off of each other, and enjoyed the role played by Diane Keaton very much. I also thought Ted Danson was a very nice fit in his role as well. It's no Oscar winner, but I would put this on my list of movies to see if you just want to be entertained.

Sit back, relax and enjoy the ride!! This is a hysterical comedy crime caper about a trio of dames who plan on stealing the Kansas City Federal Reserve Bank blind.

Diane Keaton plays Bridget, an upper-middle class housewife whose husband (Ted Danson) loses his high paying job and they're left saddled with huge debts. So when he tells her they need to start downsizing she looks for a job to try to make ends meet. With little skills and having not worked in years, the only job opening she is able to find is the janitor at a Federal Reserve Bank. As she watches the shredding of worn out currency day in and day out, she concocts a scheme to get rich quick.

To accomplish her goal, she enlists the aid of two of the women who work there who are also having trouble making ends meet. Queen …

Have you ever wanted something so bad that you decided to just go for it? That’s just what Bridget Cardigan (Diane Keaton) decided to do in “Mad Money.”

The story centers around three women, Bridget, Jackie Truman (Katie Holmes) and Nina Brewster (Queen Latifah), who work in a high security bank. One day Bridget gets the brilliant idea to steal dollar bills that are going to be shredded anyway and use them to pay off debts. The problem is, once you have an easy thing going, it’s really hard to stop, especially when money’s involved.

This movie would have probably been much better back in the 80’s when this sort of plot was the norm. Not to say I don’t think movies like this should be made today, but it probably would have just worked better. The real problem with this …
