I think this movie is important but was a year too late. Plus, it tries to scare one too much. I didn't learn anything new over what Al Gore already told me. Skip it, but still turn your lights out.

Thoughtful, Scary

What I love about this movie is that it was able to move past the global warming issues and see the bigger picture with such clarity and purpose. It started off with the basics--elementary-level information that pretty much everyone should know about. But as it went on, it became a complex, well-organized academic paper that gets more fun the longer one sticks with it. I learned a lot from this film but I'm not going to mention all of them because it is best if one chooses to experience it for himself or herself. But probably one of the most important lessons I took away from this picture is that the fight against global warming is not to protect the planet. Ultimately, it is a fight to protect ourselves; the Earth flourished prior to our existence and it will continue to do so once we ar...
