Another attempt to corner the so-called torture-porn market, but this one feels like a tired copy without any of the originality of Saw or Hostel. Plus, the actors are just wrong - it feels like a bad joke even with all the gore.

Action: 1/3 + Comedy: 0/2 + Love/Sex: 0/1 + Plot: 0.5/1 + Music: 0.5/1 + Good vs. Evil: 1/1 + Special Effects: 0.5/1 = 3.5/10 or 35%. Hollywood is a repeat business, thus repeating a successful medium makes money again, again, and again and again. BUT Lionsgate desperately either needs to find a new formula or people need to stop watching the annoying "torture porn" subgenre of horror. If you've seen the Saw's you've seen this, if you've seen the Hostel's you've seen this. There is nothing new here, it's rehashed garbage and it's boring. Did I mention how annoying it was? It's annoying.

This is the first film I've ever walked out of the theater for. I try to stay till the end of every movie, no matter how bad, but there's no denying the sheer awfulness that graced the screen that day. At least I got my money back.
