A small town grocery bagger Rosalee (Kate Bosworth) dreams of one day meeting her movie idol Tad Hamilton. (Josh Duhamel) That one dream comes true when his agents get the bright idea to set him up on a date with a total stranger because this movie star needs to clean up his bad boy image. After meeting Rosalee, Tad falls for the pretty competition winner and ends up moving to West Virgina but there is one problem; her boss and long-time friend Pete (Topher Grace) is secretly, hopelessly, and deeply in love with Rosalee.
A light hearted romantic comedy that leans more toward the romantic rather than the comedic. You know who's going to win the girl but you feel a bit for the loser too.

This is the classic "will the nice guy finish last" film that you kow how it ends ten minutes into the film. Topher Grace is lovable in this film and Kate Bosworth is perky without being annoying about it. This film is cute, but offers nothing new. |

This is such a common chick-flick. The girl falls in love with someone, without knowing that her guy best friend has actually loved her forever, and when she finds this out, of course, she ditches the other guy, and falls in love with her best friend. Bleugh.
Not even worth watching. |
