Too far away

I normally gravitate towards movies like this, but this one never really pulled me in. The isolation portrayed (probably by the director) prevented me from feeling that the characters were real, or that they had any true relationship to each other. Again, I don't fault the actors, I just don't think I'm on the same page with the director.
