Everything about this film made my head hurt, including just the look of the film itself. The lame acting, bad dialog, the excruciating plot, the terrible effects - just writing about it is giving me bad flashbacks. Stay away - far away. |

Even the the SFX are very bad, the acting not good and the story a little lame, I was really excited to see this. Unfortunately nothing went right for Wimmer - after his very well done Equilibrium. I wonder what is next for that man? |

Ultraviolet |
|
Ultraviolet is a dull action movie with only a little to offer. The Direction is bad, the Writing is very very bad and the acting is terrible, except for the lead. Mila Jovovich is good and sexy in the lead, but cameron bright is bad(as usual). The rest of the cast is bad as well. The film is slow, but makes up for it with terrific action sequences and wonderful art direction. but that's not even enough reasoning, to see this movie. |

D for Dreadful |
|
Bloodless, brainless action nonsense whose visuals look created on a Game Boy; all the rough and tumble fighting barely make Violet's glasses so askew, 200 machine guns get fired in her direction and all she has to do to avoid the bullets is duck down, a guy swoops down and picks up a character who haphazardly runs under the hole, and all I ask is why oh why are the villains suits made of glass? It has the claim to the most awful name for a villain since Mystery Men's Casanova Frankenstein: Vice Cardinal Ferdinand Daxus. Final Grade: D |

Not Bad Enough |
|
A MILF with infectious HGV (vampirism) kidnaps a boy from a megalomanic phramaceutcial CEO-type in a loathsome future distopia. Even the fight scenes are predictable. There is a kind of glory, a status of accomplishment, for films that aim to be bad and suceed. This film is not one of them.
