"Trick 'r Treat" is a scary movie I would look forward to rewatching every Halloween. It ties together four different spooky stories that are chilling, original, and keep the cheese level to a minimum.

Trick 'r Treat is the most overlooked horror movie that really deserves to be watched by more people, because the movie get's the Halloween atmosphere spot on and it celebrates the hell out.

Trick 'r Treat's four stories are interwoven fantastically with the story of Emma and Henry, Steven Wilkins, Macy, Schrader, Chip, Sara and Rhonda and Laurie all bring important parts to this film and the idea that Sam is the symbol of Halloween and attempts to turn around everyone's beliefs is done very well. The acting and script are great, I recommend to all that enjoy the anthology type of movies.

Has a mixture of different stories whose figures will intertwine. It starts where lovers Emma (Leslie Bibb) and Henry (Tahmoh Penikett) discuss a tradition that should never be broken in Halloween. Steven Wilkins (Dylan Baker), the town principal, gives a lesson to Charlie (Brett Kelly) that he will never forget. Macy (Britt McKillip), Schrader (Jean-Luc Bilodeau), Sara (Isabelle Deluce), Chip (Alberto Ghisi), and Rhonda (Samm Todd) goes on a journey related to "The Halloween School Bus Massacre." Laurie (Anna Paquin) is stalked by a vampire while her sister Danielle (Lauren Lee Smith) and friends Maria (Rochelle Aytes) and Janet (Moneca Delain) wait for her. Kreeg is visited by a little Halloween figure named Sam, which will eventually change his perception of Haloween.

A Return to Classic Horror Story Telling

This is a movie technically 2 years in the making. Originally slated to be released in October of 2007; this flick has been sitting in production purgatory to only be released directly to DVD just a couple weeks ago. And for this say "What a shame." Finally, a decent Halloween-esk movie comes out that is original, very entertaining and what I may consider one of my favorite movies of the year...and it doesn't even get the respect of a theatrical release.

I watched this movie Friday night (before going to see 'Paranormal Activity'; so you can consider Friday was a very GOOD movie night for Sancho), and I was not only impressed....but disappointed I did not follow my gut and just buy this movie before seeing it. Instead I was responsible and rented it. Now that I've seen it, I want to …
