As a dramady, it fails. Everyone just comes off as whiny and dumb. Way too much "drama" in the form of "who gives a shit, get over yourself" and hardly any funny moments at all. The whole thing was a waste of time.

Adam Sandler was great in this movie, portrayed in a different way to how I've seen him. Spanglish is about a non-english speaking nanny who comes to work for a disfunctional family. Though she tries to keep out of there business, she finds herself learning to speak english and getting wrapped up in all their problems.
