Some of the bits where Allen acts like a dog are fairly amusing, but the majority of the film is just routine and mediocre.

Another Tim Allen family film in which he plays a put-upon dad, but this comedy has plenty of heart and laughs despite covering such familiar territory. Final Grade: C+
