Gleefully meta slasher flick that’s as scary as it’s funny. The ensemble cast is good across the board.

Loved it. Clever, surprising, unpredictable, well-written, and mostly well-acted. Scream is a very good teen/horror flick. Great ending/reveal.

The same old junk rehashed with a self-referential spin. Neither funny nor scary nor in any way clever.

Although it is mostly a tongue-in-cheek satire on horror movie cliches, it also functions as a pretty suspenseful and sometimes scary slasher film in its own right.

Good cast, funny and smart screenplay and believable performances all around. Scream's score, direction and plot was well developed. Brilliant film overall despite some coy moments with the characters. It's homage to various horror flicks were evident as well. Spawned a franchise and spoof films. Enjoyable from start to finish, Scream is a classic on own.

The movie that made me a fan of horror movies. It's so smart and scary, but at the same time full of satire about slasher films. There was nothing like it before and there really hasn't been much like it since. I love the hell out of it!

this is truly one of the greates horror/dark humar film in years.Wes Craven delivers with this masterpiece of afilm, yes I said "masterpiece".Kevin Wiliamson brings us a script that ot only keeps you in,but you want more by the time the credits roll.Williamson writes perfectly, with his witty and smart dialogue.not to mention the colorful characters.this film is amazing in every ways.the cast brings they're A game when it comes down to the acting.Neve Campbell,David Arquette,Courtney Cox,Skeet Ulrich,Mathew Lilard,Jamie Kennedy, and of course Rose MCgowan.this film is "The Godfather" of the horror genre.I recommend it to anyone who loves horror or who just loves films.
