This is defiently one of the best movies, and sports movies ever made. First of all I love everything about the Natural. The love, the baseball. the funny, and drama scenes. It reminds me of Hoosiers soe really because of Cheering. It also reminds me of Field of Dreams because of Baseball. The Natural I thought was actually bettter than Hoosiers, and Field of Dreams. The actors did a great job. The best actor in the movie to my opionion was Robert Redford. Also the Actreees was Glenn Close and a tiny of Barbara Hershey before she turns bad. and the same thing with Kim Bassinger. It is a family movie as in, no bad scenes, child appropriate movie. But like i said one of the best sports and the best movie ever. Glenn Close was the best Actress in the movie. See The Natural. Feel good …

His character and attitude allow him to take the field and that is what a great story is all about. Second chances, beating the odds, and of course, great women played by Glenn Close, no less. I love the clothes, the scenery and the directing. A remake of this film would not be possible, as Redford probably shows his best here. …

Roy Hobbs swings and delivers at #28

Most people would have Field of Dreams, Bull Durham or Major League as their best baseball movie...not me....I am a huge Robert Redford fan and this movie is my all-time favorite about America's Pastime. Roy Hobbs faces all odds and the dramatic ending still gives me goosebumps like no other. Other strong performances include Robert Duval as the trivial sports reporter, Wilford Brimley as the tough as nails manager and Glenn Close as Hobb's childhood sweetheart who he reunites with. The only flaw in this well directed Barry Levinson flick would be how sultry Kim Basinger would bring you bad luck and somehow the less enticing Close would make things better. Anyway you slice it this film is a triumph and one of the best sports movies ever put on screen. Being a Dodger fan this movie speaks …
