"The Family Hypocrites" -Unfathomable. Swerves from bitterly cynical to sickly maudlin. The family is tolerant of everything but someone who is different than them. Wears its agenda like a turtleneck.

It wasn't anywhere near as bad as I thought it was going to be.

This was an okay movie. I didn't hate this. I am still completely confused as to why they all spoke sign language to each other. If anyone has the answer to that feel free to let me know. But overall, it didn't suck. Maybe Sarah Jessica Parker did, actually. She was kind of awkard in this role.

An obtuse holiday comedy with a gallery of spiteful characters; the fact that we're supposed to believe all the relationships that develop or sympathize with the film's closing moments involving Diane Keaton are proof the writer and director do not respect their audience enough. Humbug! Final Grade: C-

This movie is about a Family with all adult children coming together at Christmas time. Each member of this family has something that makes him or her unique, but they all still manage to love each other. This movie is sweet, perfect to watch with your family during the holidays, and always makes me cry. I like that this family has its faults. The Waltons they are not.

I love this movie! Even though the actors are not actually family on screen you would never be able to tell. They bicker and fight and love like a family does. It really conveys the message that you should always appreciate family because you never know when they will be gone. It also helps that there is an AMAZING cast! It doesn't come off as your typical christmas movie but by the end it will have you feeling warm and fuzzy, no doubt about that.

Cheap drama. A waste. I just kept watching to see if I was right about my predictions of how things were going to end. Well, a totally predictable movie. You haven't seen it? You're not missing anything.

This isn't your typical light hearted Christmas movie. It's charming, smart and tells a great story of an actually relatable family who comes together over Christmas with some adversity ahead of them. This movie makes you remeber what the holidays are truely supposed to be about. The cast is amazing and have a great chemisty together that's actually believable. It's a great film I highly recomend!!
