Arguably the Worst Batman Yet

"The Dark Knight" (2008) was an instant classic tale of a complex battle for Gotham's soul between Batman and The Joker. "The Dark Knight Rises" (2012) not only doesn't live up the reputation of "The Dark Knight", but is disputably the worst Batman film yet (I honestly don't know if "Batman & Robin" or "The Dark Knight Rises" is a worse film). The movie suffers from poor writing, horrible characterization, terrible transitions, and many plot holes (Batman has an indestructible Plane and EMP device that he uses at the beginning and just seems to forget about using those when millions of lives are in danger.) There is one plot twist at the end that slightly redeems the film, but this film is so terrible that 5 minutes of enjoyable footage doesn't make up for the entirety of 3 hours.
