Movie Quotes

"I know what you're thinking. "Did he fire six shots or only five?" Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would

blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?" -Dirty Harry

"Listen, and understand. That terminator is out there. It can't be bargained with. It can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead." -Kyle Reese

The Collection

The Collection
A Lazy and Disappointing Sequel to a good film
1.5/4 stars

Unlike the 2009 Collector film, which was focused around tension, sadism, and cruelty as well as subtle characterization in a fairly realistic world, The Collection is a silly hyperbole of giant death trap machinery, a giant impenetrable fortress, and Zombies. Glad that you also enjoyed this flick. We finally get a solid action movie that is not only fun and cool, but also well made in every aspect. Sad that not more people saw it.

I've heard it was pretty disappointing...The Thing re-do. However, my brother liked it fairly well so I may give it a chance. He's my horror movie-barometer.

Best Underrated Movies comment

I agree with your selection of 'The Matrix Reloaded'. A very underrated film.

Well, as to The Thing "prequel," I've read some reviews that do not paint it in a very good light; however, I know someone who saw it and really liked it. So. Let me know what you think of it if or when you see it, and I'll do the same; but I don't think I'll be seeing it until it goes to DVD. Love Carpenter's The Thing though, and the 1951 original as well...
