The Transformers looked cool with all the swords and cloaks and sawed off shotguns and stuff. Clearly aimed at younger audience. The city set pieces reminded of Avengers.

This film frustrates the heck out of me. I had high expectations, I wanted to like it so much. But I cannot because there is too much of the film that is just BAD! Essentially everything that held the second film back holds this film back as well. Horrendous dialogue, useless characters, annoying characters, preposterous plot, lame attempts of humor...it was just not very entertaining. The action in this film is pretty AMAZING! I was so entertained by the second part. The effects, sounds, explosions, music was all perfect. Michael Bay is definitely a master of awesome action. But in-your-face non stop action is not enough for a good film.

Definitely better than the sequel, but doesn't top the predecessor. Overloaded with action and special effects, again most sequences just too long (building scene that they try to escape) without any relation to the story. Fox gets the boot for having an ego and the replacement wasn't that enticing in terms of acting. You have Malkovich, McDormand and Dempsey as veteran artists and yet some were given minor screen time. They had to kill of a few characters as well. Transformers: Dark of the Moon was entertaining from start to the middle then fizzles towards the conclusion.

Transformers 3 was good. I really didn't expect it to be because I really didn't like the first two movies, but I was plesantly surprised with how good this on was. I really think that the best scene was where they fell through the building while it was falling. I kind of feel stupid for not going and seeing it in theaters.I do wish that it had had some more fighting, half of the movie was just talking to the government and trying to discover some more stuff. I would reccomend this movie to people who enjoy actions, like robots, or like seeing entire cities being destroyed.

Of all the Transformers movies to date I would have to say that this one is the best by far. Lots of fast paced action, a good story line and cast make this a must see movie. I was surprised at how good this was. Parts were emotional and you find yourself truly rooting for the good guys. The Transformers main goal is to help mankind and protect the people which they do in true spirit.

The best of the Transformers series with a mostly linear plot and some of the most spectacular action sequences. However, there are still the gaping plot holes, still the focus on style rather than substance, still the pointless attempts at comedy (seriously, Ken Jeong?), and still the slightly misogynistic objectification of women.

Doesn't try to fix the problems that many of us had with the second film and instead tries to mask them with even BIGGER and LONGER action sequences. Though, I did find some of the action pleasing, it does get old. I liked this film only slightly more than 'Revenge', but I still didn't enjoy watching it (which should be the whole point of these movies).

Yeah, I'm giving this movie a good review, because if you're going to subject yourself to the third movie in this franchise, and one directed by Michael Bay, you should know exactly what you're going to get. Bay delivers upon that and more as the Autobots and Decepticons battle it out one more time for control of Earth. The action scenes are everything you want - loud, eye-pleasing, and impressive. As per the other Transformers films, things come down a notch when the actors are providing the humor, including John Malkovich and Ken Jeong scene-chewing parts. And, also as usual, Shia LaBeouf continues to be the worst thing in every movie he's in. If you've enjoyed the series so far (as I have) you should enjoy this.
