To the people that I talked to who have seen Yes Man have said the same thing. "It's not Carry's best movie", and I can agree that it's not on the same level as The Mask, Dumb and Dumber or the brilliant masterpiece that is Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, but I honestly don't think it's has bad as some people are pointing it out to be.

It is very easy to find this movie pretty cheesy. But I actually really enjoyed the film. I think Carrey was a good choice for the piece, but he did not deliver a worthy performance. Deschanel is amazing. SHe really is great in most roles that are given to her. This is worth a lazy Sunday watch.

Its been awhile since Jim Carrey was seen onscreen. The premise was similar to Liar Liar, but in a more motivational setting. The soundtrack was enjoyable, screen play was uplifting, cinematography was pretty and cast were funny. Zooey Deschanel was very effective in her charming character. if only the script were better than this film could have been more memorable. Still, it was an entertaining comedy with a good lesson.

Not one of Carey's best, but still funny. Zooey is great and the premise is used to potential. Decent comedy.

oh this is great........ like i said always like jim carrey movie.and this is one of my fave. the story is so original and new. the plot is great perfect and the most important makes me laugh.... oh u have to watch this guy, no regrets at all.. YES ! ......................................................................................................................................YES!

Despite Jim Carrey's best attempts to derail the film with his silly rubber face "look at me" antics, Zooey Deschanel's sweetness and a genuine heart make this film an above average, and often quite funny, comedy.

Nothing overly exciting. It does bring back a bunch of memories of liar liar but I felt like it fixed some of the issues with that movie, but it also makes a few problems. Saying yes to everything should have led to some more legal problems then this, but the supporting cast in this was better then liar liar. This is a cute movie that makes some good laughs but one that you don't need to see more then once.

This film isn't going to be a landmark in anyone's career, but it is a decent way to spend an hour-and-a-half and not feel like wasted time. Favorite scene: Jim Carrey singing Third Eye Blind's Jumper to a suicidal Luiz Guzman.

An enjoyable, harmless comedy in which Jim Carrey's character chooses to say yes to every opportunity that comes his way. Not a lot more than that, other than the quirky people he meets and the change to his personality, but it is an enjoyable watch and Carrey does a pretty good job of sustaining the film.

I was in a laughing mode last night when I watched this so it probably came off a little funnier to me then it actually was. Over all it was what I expected walking in, Liar Liar with a different catalyst. I got exactly what I thought I would and that isn't a bad thing. The movie was funny and in the sense of the over all story line it was very predictable. But since he said yes to everything they were able to through in some funny and unexpected things like Persianwives.com. Over all I would say this is worth putting on your Netflix cue and moving it up to the top 15 so you get it in a reasonable amount of time. It will make you laugh just don;t expect anything amazing.
