I read the book before I saw the movie. I loved the book since the beginning, but when I finished it the movie was not in the theaters anymore and not on DVD either. So as a result I was forced to watch it on youtube, witch by the way had REALLY bad picture. The volume was pretty bad too, but anyway though the book was much better I still loved the movie. I don't think the people looked too much like the book said they did but I think they did a really good job playing their character.

This movie is so boring! There wasn't any real relationship between the two main characters, just a bunch of longing stares. This film showed more lust than love. Awful from start to finish and without a single entertaining thing present.

First of all, Twilight is not Action, Horror. It's more Action/Thriller/Drama. Secondly, I have not talked to one adult who liked this movie. If your not a teenager, don't see this movie and expect to enjoy it. You won't. I haven't yet read the books, but I have heard that this movie is a disappointment, seeing as how good the books are. So, if you don't wanna chance it, I wouldn't read the books beforehand.

Action: 2/3 + Comedy: 1/2 + Good vs Evil: 1/1 + Love/Sex: 1/1 + Special Effects: 0/1 + Plot: 0.5/1 + Music: 1/1 = 6.5/10 or 65%. Twilight is not by any circumstance groundbreaking. It is however enjoyable and superior to past cult-vamp-flicks like the Lost Boys. The acting and mood is respectable and IF one buys in then sequels will seem exciting.

If you go into the show expecting an exact recreation of the book, you'll be disappointed. But if you watch it knowing that no book can be duplicated on the big screen, you'll be pleasantly surprised. Although the special effects are not very good, they've done an excellent job of creating the intensity between Bella and Edward. And let's be honest, that's what makes this such a great story. I was disappointed in the casting of most of the Cullens (with the exception of Edward and the Cullen parents), they just weren't beautiful enough. James was superbly cast -- creepy, beautiful, and let's face it ladies, very hot. Bella was exactly as I pictured her. And Edward. . . He couldn't have been hotter!
