Not as bad as I thought it would be. The main actor did a surprisingly good job. The girl, however, sucked. She seemed like a total rip. I understand the concept of the movie and like it. It was not well delivered though.

The only reason I watched this movie was so that my husband would stop bugging me about watching it! I didn't read these books nor do I have any desire to. What's so 'cool' about vampires anyway? Overall I though the character of Bella was very needy and the whole idea of having a vampire bite your neck after being together for a few weeks was more laughable to me then the true love story line that the books are suppose to convey (according to my hubby). I am not a fan and will probably not be watching the numerous sequels.

Amazing film that avoids basically every genre cliche. Very well directed, written and paced. Good performances from the entire cast. Outstanding scenes with breathtaking scenery.

at first i absolutely loved this movie... I guess I was just so caught up with the hype of it but now that have watched (over a 100 times mind you) I really think that the writers and directors could have seriously done a better job with this movie. But thats just my opinion.

This movie and book is so overrated lame romance, not good acting, a non original story, bad characters, and bad developments.The only thing i can say that is positive about this film is the music is good they choice wise choices when it comes to the music.But other then that the movie was really bad and i wasted money to see this crap. The only good part of the movie for me was the credits cause thats when the movie ended.Overall I would give it a 1 star and a half(the only reason for the half being there is cause i have seen worse movies).

I don't know really. I liked it. Maybe because I've partially read the book, and my daughter's all over it. The anticipation of the movie being released helped build the excitement, and then I watched it. It was fairly ok. Robert Pattinson was definitely a star. But I found the end part to be a bit anti-climactic. But I loved the soundtrack! The Muse with their, "Oh baby, don't you know I suffer? Oh baby, can't you hear me moan?"

My rating needs to have an asterisk by it. I am a huge fan of the books and I enjoyed very much seeing this book come to life. They stayed pretty close to the book but which made me very happy. I understand that they had to change some things to make it work in the confidence of a two hour movie but I didn't feel like any of it was story altering. Over all I would say if you are a fan of the books go in with an open mind and if you have not read the book understand that this is a set up story to introduce you to the characters so it may be a little slow but they only get better form here I promise!

There was a lot of people complaining about the special effects. What do you expect? It did not have the budget that The Dark Knight or Spider-Man had. It did the best it could in my opinion. I am a huge fan of Kristen Stewart and can't wait to see where her career goes. For someone who has never read the book, I enjoyed it. This is a good movie.
