Two boys who couldn't be more different are brought together by a mutual love of cinema and a desire to emulate their favorite action movie icon. This movie is enjoyable and it reminds me of my childhood a little bit.

Son of Rambow was brilliant. This grossly underrated British indie will (I hope) go on to become a cult classic forever endearing itself with viewers. Son of Rambow is about two kids trying to make a movie but things spin wildly out of control when they get unwanted attention. Now this may seem like another lame attempt at fun children's movie. Let me assure you this is not. With cocaine smoking, vulgar language, and violence due to the showing of clips from actual Rambo movie (the misspelled title is due to the main character's inability to spell Rambo) Overall Son of Rambow is a heartwarming film full of fun and advise anyone to see it.

Fun little move about kids being kids and learning through experiences. Takes sidesteps to avoid being a mediocre coming-of-age film and puts the Rambo factor to good use. Funny, enjoyable and appealing to all age groups.

Son of Rambow is a fun and creative movie. The two young actors playing the leads were great and really had good charisma together. The movie is both funny and touching (in a non-annoying way). Rather than a straight comedy it is more of a dramedy, which was quite good.

Adam & Joe's mate Garth Jennings pull off a thoroughly likeable and heart-tugging love letter to early/mid 80's England, boyhood friendships and, indeed, Rambo. Great fun; highly recommended.

A lighthearted, eccentric and absolutely enjoyable coming of age story with 2 perfectly-cast lead actors; such a simple story has rarely worked this effortlessly, with genuinely touching moments like the older brothers' appearance in the younger brothers' film, and the mother chosing her son over their religion; all is put across with a wonderful visual style and an obvious love for the subjects. Final Grade: A

Son of Rambow is unique and fun. Also I could totally relate to the characters, because Rambo made a similar impact on my life as well.

Unfortunately, this should have been cuter. Two friends, complete opposites, form an unusual friendship by making a film together. The characters seemed forced. They try to be unique but the result is highly unoriginal. Even though the film had some good moments, there was so much distraction, including a French boy named Didier.
