"The world has gone crazy." One of the pioneering psychological science fiction that has been included by critics on their "best of movies" list. Dr. Dan Kauffman informs Miles that there is an epidemic of mass hysteria. Becky Driscoll and Dr. Miles Bennell has a dinner date while noticing people acting strangely. Miles sees a body double of Becky. Certain pods have been witnessed and certain speculations erupt. The score gives that the film the added suspense. Has a few insightful lines such as: "The mind is a strange and wonderful thing." "Love, desire, ambition, faith - without them, life's so simple, believe me." and "All of us, a little bit - we harden our hearts, grow callous.
