Side-splitting, laugh-out-loud funny!

Tommy Callahan (Chris Farley) has just graduated college after 7 years and is going back to his hometown to take control of his father's (Brian Dennehy) auto brake pad company. After he comes home he finds out that his dad is marrying a very beautiful woman (Bo Derek), and he is getting a new brother (Rob Lowe). When Big Tom dies of a stroke it's up to Tommy to sell just enough brake pads to keep the factory with the help of his dad's assistant (David Spade) all while his new in laws are conspiring against him. Dan Akroyd appears as the rival auto parts store owner who wants to buy up his dadís company in a corporate takeover.

Wha'd ya do?

Chris Farley was one of the best physical comedy actors of our generation. He went full force into every endevor that it took. His facial expressions alone could get people to crack up and he used them religiously to amplify his already over the top actions. Tommy Boy is one of my favorite comedy movies of all time. Farley and Spade first started showing thier talents as a great comedy team during their SNL tenure. I remember waiting for this movie to come out because it looked like it was going to be a riot.
Rob Lowe was very funny, and it was great part for him since he had been somewhat out of the mainstream like since Waynes World. Bo Derek opens her roll in this movie with the same motions coming out of a pool as she did walking out of the surf in the movie perfect 10, it was a gre...
