Plot: Room Service is the only Marx Brothers film that was based upon a theatrical play and was not written by the brothers themselves. The story takes place in the Times Square district of New York City at the White Way Hotel. Groucho plays Gordon Miller a theatrical producer. Chico plays Harry Binelli his associate producer, and Harpo plays Faker Englund "the brains of the company". They are all living inside the hotel and they have run out of money. Now they must get a play put together from start to finish in order to pay the landlord that doesn't know they are broke.
