Plot Outline:

Room Service is the only Marx Brothers film that was based upon a theatrical play and was not written by the brothers themselves. The story takes place in the Times Square district of New York City at the White Way Hotel. Groucho plays Gordon Miller a theatrical producer. Chico plays Harry Binelli his associate producer, and Harpo plays Faker Englund "the brains of the company". They are all living inside the hotel and they have run out of money. Now they must get a play put together from start to finish in order to pay the landlord that doesn't know they are broke. -- TheWolf

I don't think that I have ever seen a Marx brothers film that I haven't found a few reasons to enjoy. This one is no exception. While "Room Service" is actually said to be the worst of their films, I feel that it still has some merit. Most people weren't aware that this was the film that introduced the Marx Brothers to a very young Lucille Ball of "I love Lucy" fame. Later this connection would bring Harpo Marx to make an appearance in her TV show. If you like slapstick comedy any Marx Brothers film will bring you a laugh.
