The Great Flood Trailer

Trailer

Trailer Published: 01/12/2014

Plot: In 1927 the Mississippi River broke out of its banks in 145 places, causing the largest river flood in modern history when it covered 27,000 square feet of land in up to 30 feet of water. But this flood also had a profound impact on migration and music, as the mass exodus of sharecroppers in the South, and the "Delta Blues" sound led to Chicago Blues, Rhythm and Blues and ultimately what we know as rock n roll. A story told in images and music. -- Chris Kavan
