Plot: Facing a dreary season the the New York Knicks decided to give backup point guard Jeremy Lin a chance to prove himself - and prove himself he did. In just five games, he scored more points than any player in the modern NBA era and the entire nation found themselves in the grip of Linsanity as he became a household name and an inspiration. Yet nothing came easy for Lin and while his story may have a happy ending, it took a lot to get where he found himself. -- Chris Kavan
