Plot: A former conductor of the Bolshoi, Andrei Simoniovich Filipov, is relegated to a cleaning man 30 years after his dismissal for hiring Jewish musicians. When he learns the Bolshoi is going to play Paris he hatches his own plan to reunite his old orchestra, along with a virtuoso violinist, and play the show himself. -- Chris Kavan
