Loveable train wreck of a flick

This movie is SO BAD, but I love it.
The movie is about two rival groups of girls who just graduated junior high. Group 1 = unpopular girls. Group 2 = popular girls (headed by former member of Group 1).
Group 2 challenges Group 1 in a scavenger hunt. The prize: getting to sit by "the fountain" for lunch in high school, while the losers must sit by the dumpster. Apparently there are no other students in this school who might want the coveted fountain spot and are willing to let freshmen scavenger hunt winners own the space. There's also a goofy group of guys who follow the girls around and sort of randomly include themselves in the hunt.. I have no idea what their purpose is.
Some bits about finding yourself, enjoying your youth, moving to Canada, purifying tap water, yadda, yadda, yadda...
There are so many pointless characters and wishy-washy sort-of storylines jumbled in to this thing.. it's a cliche', predictable train wreck. But I never miss it when it's on tv :)
