Haven't seen the first part at cinema for the same reason I haven't seen Bourne Identity- "Hm? M. Damon as secret agent?" = "RD Jr as a superhero?" Also... "iron man?" dude. I can take spider, bat, super... iron? :0/ Anyway. Glad I saw it on dvd, and it was great, I was lookfing forward for this crap.
The flick is ok, but it has some problems of detail. I'd re-do the cars race scene, the trial look a like scene... A couple of more things. The flick will be great for hardcore fans, but it's only "cool" simply because RD Jr is like the man. Also Mickey Mou..., I mean, Rourke.
