Festival In Cannes - Delightful!
Groovymoovy - wrote on 08/11/10

A wild romp through the ins and outs life at the Cannes Film Festival.  Comedy, intrigue, romance, backscratching and backstabbing are all the juicy elements in Henry Jaglom's wonderful film. The stellar cast includes Anouk Aimee as Millie - an aging actress, Maximilian Schell as her ex-husband Viktor, Greta Scacchi as Alice - an actress trying to sell her first script and become a director, Ron Silver as Rick - an intense, high-powered producer, Jenny Gabrielle as Blue - an up-and-coming actor and Zack Norman as Kaz - a fast-talking, in-your-face wheeler and dealer.

The twists and turns start as Millie becomes a pawn in a tug-of-war between Alice (who, prompted by Kaz, tries to get Millie to star in her film while Rick attempts to squash that deal to get her in his film with Tom Hanks. Millie goes to ex-hubby Viktor for advice and gets more than she expected. Their tangled lives weave journey through the cacophony of the movie-making business. Beautiful scenes of the lush Cannes countryside and cameos by William Shatner, Fay Dunaway, Jeff Goldblum and Holly Hunter.
