Dracula (1931)
3/4 stars
Despite a constant hanging veil of campiness (particularly with some of the line-reading), 1931's Dracula is a true horror classic that birthed much of the imagery and mythos that has contributed to vampire films over the years. Bela Lugosi gives an other-worldly and creepy performance the set design is impeccably dark.
