Kevin Bacon showing everyone how he can dance. This movie was cool when I was a kid, the soundtrack was great, and it was something that everyone had to see at least once. A small town with very strict rules is the center of the story, in which a new guy comes in and starts to shake things up.
While I haven't seen this movie in a number of years, I remember it being one that kids will like.
