I think Will Ferrell is one of the greatest comedians of our age. He is the best mix of both verbal and physical humor. This is a great holiday movie that has tons of humor. Bob Newhart brought a type of class to this movie as he has been a comedian that has built his career on clean humor. By adding him to the cast it also sold the movie on adults that knew him from his TV shows many years ago.
This is also the movie that gave Zooey Deschanel a big push in her career, she played Will Farrells love interest Jovie. The movie itself is cute, it great for kids and adults, and it is becoming an essential holiday movie.
