Watchmen

Peaceful Oblivion

Now this is the very definition of what film making is all about. The Watchmen is absolutely the epitome of all comic book movies. Zack Snyder created this dark reality with finesse and embellished it with an extremely stunning cinematics. It's quite masterful how he executed the sequences flawlessly without diverting my attention far away from the much layered story. Well for one it has this divided storylines between characters and it's somewhat distracting to stick to one person's path without being confused with the bigger picture. Because there are really too much going on in one setting, it's like converging a five window screen into one. That's why I'm blown away with what this director has created. A sort of like witnessing a masterpiece being put together piece by piece. It almost felt like the Dark Knight is happening all over again specially when that character Rorschach is on screen. Certainly it has that familiar feel to it and you’d probably think it's déjà vu or something but the fact is its just magnificent to feel that very essence once again. Well I guess this the greatest graphic novel ever written and I'm glad to have witness it. There are really no words to describe this kind of greatness you just need to experience it for yourself.
