The organized crime ring from the midwest almost had Vegas in their hands... Almost. What they weren't counting on is a highly unstable bride/hooker (Sharon Stone) to pit Mickey and Sam against one another, and an even more unstable gangster,(Joe Pesci) to oversee the skim in the Casino that Sam Rothstein is running, to piss of all of Vegas's law enforcement. But what really brings everything down is the greed all of the characters succumb to. Some much more than others, but it is still a constant in this film. All starts out well, but these people, with the exception of Sam Rothstein, really aren't all that equipped to deal with the problems and opportunities that come up during the course of their lives that this film portrays. Actually, they really aren't able to deal with life in general, especially Sharon Stones character. She's practically the main antagonist in this movie!!! Overall though, this movie is badass. Although these people all lead screwed-up lives, It sure makes for one interesting film!
