Not the greatest film of all time

I hear that this is one of the favorite movies of all time from movie critics. Reading some of the reviews on here show that the general public likes it too.
I had to watch this movie in a film class in college. It is one of the most boring movies I have ever seen. My teacher raved on and on about how great of a movie it is and why. Sorry..I just don't feel that way.
One reviewer on here said this is one of the most overrated films of all time - I agree.
I know someone that insulted me because I did not like this film. They said I should like it because so many critics love it and so do many others. Ironically, this person has never seen it.
Now if others have actually seen this movie and really love it, then that is fine. We all have different tastes. We like and dislike movies for different reasons.
