The Town (2010)

Great Movie

Nobody is clipping off Affleck's....This is probably Ben Affleck's best film--acting and directing. The Town is about a guy who makes his living robbing banks with his friends. However, things become complicated when he falls in love with the bank manager of his most recent heist. This is very similar to the movie Set It Off starring Jada Pinkett-Smith and Queen Latifah, except this has a rougher edge because it deals with four men instead of four women. Also, the characters in The Town are a little bit more resourceful which makes things a lot more interesting. This movie is packed with drama, action, and suspense. What makes this movie so great is that although Ben Affleck and his boys are lower-class thugs (for lack of a better term), they are brilliant at what they do.

The movie was very well cast, and the acting was solid. It seems like Ben Affleck's best performances are when he is playing a "blue collar" guy from his home town (Good Will Hunting). I would recommend this film to anyone. It really keeps you on the edge of your seat up until the very end.
