Action: 3/3 + Comedy: 1/2 + Good vs Evil: 1/1 + Love/Sex: 1/1 + Special Effects: 1/1 + Plot: 1/1 + Music: 1/1 = 9/10 or 90%.
This was one of the best movies from 2002 and though it won the Oscar for best animated film it should have been nominated for a best picture Oscar as well (Chicago won, but did we really need the Hours and The Two Towers along with it?). It also has by far the most memorable action sequence from the year as well, which involves a spirit named Sen who continually offers people gold, but things go terribly wrong when Chihiro allows it a steam bath. Spirited Away is an overall wonder to behold and is a masterpiece of animated family cinema.
