Well, this movie was pretty darn weird. Magicians, Mayan temples, and accidental murder? Oh my.
The only thing that makes sense is that it was a remake of a French movie. Bridget Fonda and Russell Crowe weren't bad, I guess. But I don't think they had much chemistry. Jim Broadbent was fine. The bad guy I thought was Treat Williams for a second.
The movie certainly can't decide on one idea so it uses all of them. And then it ends on rabbit sex. That actually sums up the movie. Just when it seems perfectly ordinary, it did something odd.
