Film noir that benefits from a nuanced performance by Vincent Price as a doctor who kills his wife and tries to cover it up. Only things get complicated when a witness ends up in his care but currently suffers from amnesia. Vincent Price is very good in this. He's not hamming it up as one might expect in his later roles and though he does villainous deeds, you sense the moral conflict in his character.
