Hilary Swank chews the scenery as a ruthless cop that seduces a married man ( Michael Ealy) and ensnares him in a web of lies. The tone and atmosphere both harken back to 1990s thrillers and the acting’s pretty good. But the film’s more lurid content is not quite as steamy as it aims to be.
