The Man Who Never Was may be too deliberately paced as WW2 spy movies go, but it remains interesting thanks to its plot being mostly factual and a good lead performance by Clifton Webb. Stephen Boyd appears as a pro-Nazi Irish spy and brings much needed tension towards the second half.
