"Inception" is by far one of the best films of the year, and quite possibly one of the best of all time. This claim is attributed to the entire scope of the film's production: Writing, Casting, Acting, Directing, Effects, and Promotion. Trailers had me salivating, waiting, just waiting, with intense anticipation for the day it came out. Then, as I sat in the theatre, afraid to move an inch, lest I miss an important plot point, I found myself for 2 1/2 hours being completely enthralled with what I was watching. DiCaprio, Gordon-Levitt, Page, Murphy...all of them were outstanding. The effects were not so much effects but amazing cinematography. It all looked vividly authentic! A great film to start a great season of films, hopefully, and an amazing film altogether! Oscars are sure to follow!
