This is one of those rare movies that actually captures what it's really like to be a person. Sometimes it's awkward and uncomfortable, sometimes it's lonely, sometimes everything is temporarily perfect, but in the end, nothing stays. Oh and the dialogue was great, it's going to be terribly dated in a few years, but for some reason that just adds to its charm. Frances is a character that you can get sick of and love at the same time because I think a lot of people can relate to how she acts and how she thinks. From the beginning sequences between her and Sophie to that little speech she made at the dinner party about making eye contact with your one person and dimensions invisible to everyone else and such, this movie should be able to strike a chord with anyone who has ever had a genuine "best" friend.
